Exciting news! I have just received the Bluff Park Merchants award at the Bluff Park Art Show(bluffparkart association.org) on Saturday, October 1. My textile art has been featured in "Birmingham magazine", and, UAB School Of Optometry as a visual artist. My pieces won the 2010 Merit Award in Fiber at the juried Kentuck Art Festival, 2010 Patron Award at Kentuck Art Festival, 3rd place winner at Art and Music on the Green at Ross Bridge, 3rd place winner at Leeds Folk Festival.
